These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Yixing Dingyuan website and any purchase or enquiry you make with us. By accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Products & Authenticity

All teapots sold by Yixing Dingyuan are authentic Yixing Zisha pieces, handcrafted from natural, unblended clay sourced from the Huanglongshan deposit. Each piece includes a certificate of authenticity. We make every effort to accurately represent products through descriptions and photography.

2. Orders & Pricing

All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. An order is confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from us and payment clearance. We reserve the right to decline any order.

3. Payment

We accept payment via bank transfer (T/T), PayPal, and other methods confirmed at the time of order. For wholesale orders, payment terms will be specified in the proforma invoice. Full payment is required before dispatch for retail orders.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship worldwide via reputable international couriers (DHL, FedEx, SF Express).
  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be confirmed at checkout or in your order confirmation.
  • Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon handover to the carrier.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures in the destination country.
  • Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

5. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, each piece has slight natural variations in texture and color — these are features, not defects. We accept returns or exchanges only in cases where:

  • The product is damaged in transit (photographic evidence required within 48 hours of receipt).
  • The product is materially different from what was ordered.

Please contact us at info@yixingdingyuan.cn within 7 days of receiving your order to initiate a return. Returned items must be in original packaging and unused condition.

6. Bespoke & Custom Orders

Custom engraving and bespoke commissions are non-refundable once production has begun. A deposit (typically 50%) is required to start production. Lead times for custom pieces range from 4 to 12 weeks depending on complexity.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, designs, and product photography — is the intellectual property of Yixing Dingyuan or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yixing Dingyuan's liability for any claim arising from these Terms or a purchase shall not exceed the price paid for the relevant product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
